Ryan Siemens accepted the call to serve us in May of 2007, began working in our congregation in August and was ordained on April 19, 2009. Ryan holds a Master of Divinity degree from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, IN. Prior to that, Ryan holds two undergraduate degrees from Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conflict Transformation Studies and a Bachelor of Theology degree. Ryan, along with his wife Sandra Sinnaeve, are originally from the Winnipeg area, but have enjoyed living for several years in Alberta, where Ryan was Associate Pastor for one year at Foothills Mennonite Church and for two years, Ryan & Sandra were House Leaders under the former Service Adventure Program (now Mennonite Voluntary Service Canada), through Lethbridge Mennonite Church.
Ryan's pastoral leadership is evident in many ways. These include the richness of our times of worship, the depth of his biblical knowledge and it application, and the enthusiasm he brings to our church organization. While we try not to hold it against him, he is an avid Blue Bomber fan, enjoys theological discussions and books, skiing in the wilderness of Central Saskatchewan and to laugh.
